Random Thoughts
Here are some random events this week:
My appeal to have a VBAC ( vaginal birth after C-section) through my insurance at Renown got approved. I can give the credit to my doctor who called the appeals department himself. What at first was a misunderstanding between my doctor's office and our insurance company surprisingly worked out for the good. Mind you, I'm holding this opportunity lightly as I learned from others ( in the previous post regarding this ) that this will not determine my identity ;)
The result of our toilet dilema became resolved but not after we had to go for a day without being able to use running water at our house, including the toilets. I will try very hard not to take running water for granted again. We were at one point considering the bucket idea, I'll stop the description there. The culprit ended up to be our tree roots. We have a very large tree in the front of the house whose roots grew into the pipe and causing the stop up. Thank goodness it was resolved easily.
Morgan has officially graduated to a toddler bed and is out of the crib.

Hooray for fixed toilet. And glad to hear that you didn't have to resort to watering the same tree that caused the problem, if you know what I mean.
Please tell me you have pictures of Andy with his arm in the toilet.
i want to see those pictures
Jeni- I know what you mean. Andy actually suggested doing that (backyard trees that is). I told him I could never look at our backyard the same and it didnt' matter that the dog does that every day
Murdoc and digapigmy- I missed the photo opportunity as I was preparing for slush to pour out of our toilet. I can't get him to re-enact the moment either...oh well
Call RHP for all your plumbing and heating needs.
Would love to see the picture of Andy's arm down the toilet. I have a toilet auger for just that problem if your interested. Enjoy your blog and adventures. Love Grandpa Mike
I stuck my arm in because someone had to suggest that maybe a small child might have dropped a toy or something in there.
Way too much toilet talk going on, but since that is our favorite topic as well, just wanted to applaud you for experimenting with running water-less life! We flew a long way to experience that! Happy belated anniversary- have 4 years really gone by??? MJ
i am glad to hear that your wishes will be honored by the insurance company, that is a feat to be applauded! i would enjoy the pictures too... but my mental picture of the event is just as good:)
Grandpa Mike- you will have to explain the toilet auger and we will remember that next time ;)
Melissa & Cullen- While I was washing the dishes in the backyard I was thinking camping out at our own house was over-rated, your pictures of your trip are amazing!
Laura- It was truly a miracle that it got approved and I agree that the mental picture is just as good as actual pictures :)
Toddler bed? Does she stay in it, or do you have to use the velcro straps to keep her from escaping?
:)
I was here . . . several times, in fact . . . yet I have nothing clever to say . . . no reflection on you, of course . . . I must be tired or something . . .
socey- miracles, she is actually staying in bed. I don't think she has figured it out that she can get out on a whim....we'll see how long that lasts
Tim- always nice to see you were here
